It is not the straining for great things that is most effective; it is the doing the little things, the common duties, a little better and better... -Orison Sweet Marden

So I have to start by saying how much of a sacrifice this particular page is for me.  It required me to do my two least favorite things: have my picture taken and write.  So bear with me…

I started my career in advertising at the Altoona Mirror in a neighboring “metropolis.”  (And as Scott S. or Sarah will undoubtedly tell you at some point, advertising IS NOT marketing.)  After working in the ad department, I accepted a position in finance which required concentration, not talking. Needless to say, it wasn’t a good fit – not for any lack of ability to concentrate, but more for the lack of opportunity to chat.

After my experience in finance, I made a job move to a regional heritage development company where I had the great fortune of meeting Mr. Scott Stuttard.  Over the course of many years, Scott and I developed a strong bond and a great working style, so when the day came that he announced his resignation from our company, it felt more like a divorce.

Years later and after a decision to change career paths, I oddly was reunited with Scott at The Lytle Group, where I had accepted a position and was quickly promoted to Administrative Assistant.  Shortly after my arrival, Scott formed in2it marketing where I have the pleasure of serving as the company’s administrator.

I was a long and winding road, but in a lot of ways, I feel that I’m in the right place at the right time… finally.
